it definitely shouldn't go to the cap raise price given the shares were gifted away at that price with the known news not priced in. Whilst I don't like that approach at all, it does mean that the cap raise price will almost certainly not happen on market. You can see the selling now at 39.5 which is probably those holders that got their hands on the cap raise.
The difference to WA1 raising with known news in hand was that they did it at above last price... these guys gave a discount! Absolutely mates rates raise it was.
All this said, in a market like this one buying friends isn't the worst idea. And that is what they did. I won't be buying in but I do think you will see higher prices.
