I don't see any hype - I am quite happy to dance, along with Beef, waving our pom poms.
... as for doom and gloom, a good deal of it appears to me to be rather febrile down ramping by people who perceive themselves as having missed the boat - some of it patently farcical (pun intended), and we may be being haunted by the ghost of Sidage but not to worry as the Ghostbusters are here.
