I was thinking today about a deal. If they are pushing to do a deal and trying for a quick deal they will want the share price to rise quickly.
Higher the share price, better the deal - obviously there's more to it than that, but it does play a critical part.
So....
Based on the fact that they have suggested pretty clearly that they are chasing a deal, of some description, within a shorter period of time.... it would be in everyone's interest to have the share price high.
IMO - that's why I believe we will have some big money entering this quickly. The share price will rise quickly over the coming months to ensure that any deal put on the table will need to be significant.
Remember: higher the SP, higher the buyout amount.
