I remember someone previously mentioning that Executive Chairman Vinnie was brought onboard based on his previous experience in dealing with / negotiating deals with BP. Back in Acne Phase 2 days (2019), I think there as a performance clause if he managed to negotiate a sale to BP by a certain date?

Acne Phase 2 debacle was around 3-4yrs ago. Vinnie isn’t getting any younger, I get the strong feeling that SB is his / US execs exit strategy - To negotiate a deal with BP and sell BOT off. I could be wrong, but it’s hard to picture a man like Vinnie hanging around at a micro cap company for the next few years while Acne, Anti microbial trials are run etc.

I’d say Vinnie wants to finish on a high, negotiate an awesome deal and maintain his track record / reputation. If that’s the case, they are making all the right moves.
