I spoke to a bloke recently (our dogs are mates) who's an investment manager at a major Aus insto. Didn't talk about BOT specifically but it was fascinating to get his take on biotechs more generally.
In short, he only sees bios as short term trades UNTIL they get through approvals. For him, the risks of a drug not making it to fruition is too high to consider for a long term hold.
If this sentiment is replicated at other funds, we could be seeing a sharp increase in additional major buyers come late Sep.
