Clearly the ASX will happily respond to email complaints with stock standard answers and no follow-ups.
They need to be shamed into acknowledging that algorithmic trading is hurting the typical investor.

I saw a ridiculous example of Bots today (well 23/2/10) playing with themselves at the expense of GBP - pretty much a penny stock (19 cents). Anyone have access to all the GBP trades on this date to display here? There were 285 trades (probably 95% were the bot in parcels of approx 300 = $60 every 2 minutes). The bot kept the price pinned for all but the last 10 minutes of trading.
It was blatant and embarrassingly obvious what was going on.
