Bots can cause a loss if they are holding the price at certain level, check out the CCC threads, ccc sp has hovered around the 19 cents mark because whenever the sp climbs higher the bots sells an order to take it back to 19 cents.
To me the bot is manipulating the market to keep the price stable and not allowing compertition to gain a big order..
