Can you please tell me why people can buy less than 500 shares eg EXT regularly has trades of less than 500. However myself when I received 490 shares in a SPP plan due to scaling I had to then buy 500 so I could sell my 490. It seems to me that there are rules for some and then rules that allow manipulation of shares for others. I believe the system is called BOT trading, why are people allowed to use this system?
