Thanks mate for the references, which I've now read.

I confess to not being familiar with flash trading; I was at an industry presentation only last week and it was mentioned... 'made a note to look into it. But this is not something currently available on the ASX - and by the sounds of it, hopefully never will be.

The mob I work for mostly develop arbitrage algos (MEO is not part of any algo strategy I'm aware of, although it could be traded VWAP via a broker algo etc). No dark pool, centrepoint etc.

Re your trade, bummer! 'Wish I understood more as to what may have happened.
