It was used to hit the bid side. This activity does not keep the share price up... for the sake of throwing away 48,000 shares, it allowed them to accumulate - how much? who knows.
Yesterdays bot was very predictable, both in parcel size and frequency.
IMO, Bot usuage in this manner is a good sign ... however it appears absent today. In a down market the bot may not be necessary.
