    I lived in Argentina for 12 months in 1981 when there was approx. 300% per annum inflation. Not much compared to Zimbabwe these days, but I can ssure you it is a VERY different way off life. Goods go up in price virtually every day. You can get massive interest rates for 30 and 60 days at the banks for your savings in the local currency or you can hoard 'hard' currencies. In those days the hard currency was the US dollar. My how things (may) have changed! Perhaps in the US they'll be hoarding pesos, LOL! More likely gold bars I would guess.
