I think the point you may have missed is that the Public service is not accountable for anything , they pretend to be but in reality they never are , look at the child protection agency and defence for example ,They tend to be over paid and most definitely underworked . Good Job if you can get it .
To finish no public servant is worth $1,000, 000 plus a year pension , yet every senior fatcat in Canberra is entitled to that and more . It is just thieves and crooks at the trough , they taught the politicians how to feed at the same trough
