With both Labor and Liberal not interested in coal inVictoria we have the biggest brown coal deposits in the world and the state government has put a halt to conventional gas as well as fracking,companies interested in tapping the gas without fracking this was floated by Shell as a replacement for Hazlewood but our numb skull politicians are not interested.
Driven by the Greens the major parties push for more and more rewnewable power without regard for the consequences of swaping reliable power for unreliable power,the fact that when the biggest demand for power comes in the morning and at night when solar power production is low . In SA wind power can produce 80% of the states power but in the summer as was the case a few days ago wind only produced 2.5% of the states power if this is the best planning our politicians can do then Australia is doomed to be an economic basket case that will leave the rest of the world scratching their heads at our collective incompetense.
