Well it isn't surprising that our politicians have no conscience, judgment or understanding of the consequences for themselves, their party and their electors.
We pay a pittance and we expect quality!
There is really no one else to blame, other than us.
Only the dregs of society aspire to be politicians as they crave all the trimmings that the public purse can give them.
There is very little point in complaining about Rag Tyres and Drum Brakes if we are too stingy to realize that we can't get quality unless we attract quality.
To attract quality we need to change what draws people into politics and put in place remuneration and punishment that will attract more people that possess qualities that will benefit society.
