Quoted price lists last sale. If say a sale is made at 10.5c and a sale of one share follows at 10c then that is what is shown as the last sale for Quotes. If the quoted price is consistently at the lower level it convinces some people wanting to sell to accept a lower price. Also it influences buyers not to pay the higher price as there are sellers at the lower end.
I thought blind Freddie would understand that.
