you're incorrect. the bot was sitting at 26c for a long long time and drove the price down from 30 odd cents. Every time there was a run-up of sorts in the price a few days later it reverted back to the base level. This is reflected in the daily price charts to some extent if you have a look.

i can't recall the price on the earlier one before that but there was another one keeping the price below 25c prior to oppie conversion.
