The Botswana asset is a long term one. If in the meantime something reasonable can be done with it i think they should capitalise and use the funds to progress their SA operations or something of similar type - ie: close to production with partner.
The value of this asset in its current state should not add too much to the share price, even at billions of tonnes of coal. I am thinking a fair and reasonable valuation could be anything from 5c to maybe 15c. Say 5c per 1b of coal? On current shares on issue thats $20m of added value per 1b of coal.
However, once the infrastructure plans are defined there could be real value in this asset.
Hopefully we dont have to wait for too long to find out.
