NMR Investor Update (Dec 2011):

Washed coal Test results, at a 1.6 sg float:

- Calorific value are higher for NMR:
NMR = 23 Megajoules (circa 5493 calories)
AFR = 4,845 calories (best case)

- Recovery is higher for NMR: NMR current JORC resource of 4.23 Bt of raw coal with a 57% yield @ 1.6 sg float provide with a washed resource of 2.4 Bt:
NMR = 57%
AFR = 43%

- Ash content % (impurities) are lower for NMR after washed:
NMR = 16.5%
AFR = 22.9%

As (Jus) mentioned, Seams 3 & 4 could be candidate for thermal export (high grade) with a low sulphur, low ash, high calorific value and a good recovery (66% max)
