R2R,
your comments are absolutely right.
If one is constantly addressing the daily movements of the share price of their stock, there is a cause to say that one is overweighted in that holding or perhaps due diligence was not done properly. I expect short term volatility in this stock and all other stocks for that matter.
For a company to get valued appropriately, patience and a few positive indicators are integral. After all..this is the junior game and this is where the big money is made. I can recall numerous occasions whereupon i had sold too fast and that timing had become an important hurdle for me to cross....alas, i realise that it was a hopeless cause and that getting into undervalued assets prior to the herd is a better outcome. Being contrarian and a valued investor has done me well...granted i have missed some big moves in other stocks but i still do make some moola from time to time.
Experience dictates that juniors will only get their dues with prudent management and great properties. These are only two of numerous other factors that need to be considered in the grand scheme of things. At the moment, i am truly glad that OVR sits in the best mining jurisdiction at the moment = being the Yukon. I do hope that they get their other drill-ready project going sometime next year - i.e. their Myschka Copper-Gold Project.
R2R, opinions are always welcome. I am quite hopeless in charting and the technical aspect of this game and am willing to learn...in the fundamental environment, however, i do pretty well.
With OVR, the indicators that will enable them to move on up gradually will be put forth in 2011. I prefer strong moves with sideways consolidation prior to another upside...it is much healthier for the share price and for the company's shareholders in general. We seriously have a long way to go but with news on the horizon and another drilling campaign, i see rosier days. The discoveries have been made....it is now just a matter of economics. And i can opinion that juniors rarely undertake Bankable Feasibility Studies unless they are quite confident on its outcome. What i am interested is, in the actual figures of their studies...NPVs, IRRs, C1 and offtake agreements.
If that happens, and it is favorable...nothing will stop the rerate.
