Yep, but what gives? I do not put too much faith in the ASIC daily total shorts but if they are correct there is slight covering. The daily short volumes tell us that massive shorting is taking place. If both are correct the daily shorts are matching covered shorts.
One thing I do dislike is the fall in shorts as at these levels I wish they were going higher to build a spring board.
The other thing I noticed yesterday was the concerted effort to push this down. However, having achieved that they let it close at 82.5. I got a trade in at 81.5 but have to admit that I thought I'd be selling into the close for a loss.
