Are you using net shorts, which are reported with a delay of several days or daily shorts which are reported the next day? I'm familiar with Shortman, who get there info form ASX and ASIC I believe.

Net shorts = short interest so that's the ASIC data which is about 4 days old

Daily shorts run a day later than real time and that's what I get from the ASX
