strong short term bounce often seen off gap fill

although at other times in a bearish market the SP has been seen to simply dive straight through and below the gap (which I witnessed on one of my stocks)

and sometimes the price simply stabilises on gap fill and becomes support with no violent reaction

bit random really mate, some stocks have more tendecies in certain respects, eg AGO bounces nicely around gaps and is a notoriously "gappy" stock, I've paid attention to it for 1.5 years and you can bet your left nut that in that stock EVERY gap will get filled sooner rather than later... just as an example... its a weird kind of thing to be honest I wish I had a TA explanation for it
