Typically a blackout period will commence from 1 July and continue until the full year results are released to the market. Last year Spenda's 4E was released to the market at the end of August. As the FY24 4E hasn't been released yet, it's fair to say that the company is in fact in a blackout period and therefore the BoD can't buy on market.
That is not to say they couldn't have bought on market at other times between the June 2023 CR, where some participated, and 30 June 2024. I make no excuses for them not having done so. Just merely pointing out that the current buying on market isn't likely to be the BoD or Spenda staff as they're not permitted to trade at the moment according to their published trading policy.
