Don’t know how much effect margin lending stock holders could have here as sellers as STX sp dropped quickly. Never margin borrowed so I don’t have experience when a share starts what is a dramatic fall. Only remember the chaos during the GFC when margin calls came thick and fast and punters sold due to lack of liquidity and I think panic due to uncertainty. Always seems to be investors borrowing to get into “a sure thing” whether investment properties or shares.
