    yeh thats fair.

    I am not a Geoscientist, but trying to suss it out from a data perspective and thats what I mean when saying 3D needed here.
    In 2D, the sound source and sound detectors only number about 100 per shot. 3D is usually 10x that. Add the 3rd dimension and you get incremental quality and quantity of data to play with - in a Geology where it may be more about identifying the Structure - lots more folding and faulting structures here (which you mentioned). Think thats the culprit.
    3D will also pick up Stratigraphy better including fluid content.
    So better resolution of subsrface features.

    Ocean Hill has a ginourmous acreage of 3D underway which is exciting. If you were going to pounce you’d wait to see what that looks like….and the Kadathinni block has 3D planned as well. It might have some of Chris’ oil in it ha ha.
    We all know the gas is there - including South Eregulla 2&3. But if it’s not coming out of the ground……..its 100% of sweet f$&ckall and no good for the WA economy sitting underground.
