Check out the LMax PFS, provides costings etc. and shows the potential for the cost of Lithium Carbonate to be in the negatives. For a Phase 3 full scale plant, taking by products into consideration.
I know some posters here are pro Sulphide Roast option, as it is perceived to be more of a tried and true process, with some significant tweaks. However, we have not seen the figures of that option and it's still energy intensive to roast to 800c.
When the cost could effectively be zero, I'm all for it. Sitting on $$$ right here.
