I should have said AMX has lost 2/3 of its SP since the results! SI's have lost half their funds in the $1.30 capital raising. I reckon Pato's is leaving the building on their behalf. Value fundswould be picking up the shares- in my view.
Thing is, AMX told of its approaches from other companies *after* the Met results, so clearly suitors saw value. If they saw value @ a $1 share price or $240m market cap, they must see more value @ the current $148m market cap. Any met issues or funding requirements would be easier to pay for if a suitor has to pay $100m less for the company.
Poor little fella. It certainly is being dealt a ruthless hand. It's going to be a case of snooze lose with this one- or be careful with knives.
