In my opinion the sell off today was made far worse with heaps of automated stop loss orders. I dont use them as I am a long-term holder and love the compounding I get with keeping things in the long-term.
Lots of small orders kept filling the sell queue as they were triggered at a few steps below the current price all day. Good that so many of them are gone now!!
