Hi TONY D, I have delayed replying to your post until after the release of the quarterly. Whilst it was in essence a reasonable report on the gold front, it gave no real guide as to when we could be expecting some sort of production, but I guess it gave a hint to suggest that is where they are heading.
As to Mt Bevan our report is much the same as yours as they move ahead at snails pace.
I guess the lack of real cash commitment from NMDC is the real
reason that the development of Mt Bevan is not progressing at a suitable pace.
I guess that prior to the involvement of the Chinese, haws' lack of liquidity was the bug-bear in the joint venture but now the roles have pretty much reversed.
I don't know how much longer the directors of haw will allow this to continue without taking some action. I guess time will tell.
