    Daytr,

This is getting boring to repeat but it is simple maths.
STO has approx $20B to $21B of saleable assets. Some of which are jewels in the crown, core, non-core etc
STO has approx $9B worth of debt
STO market cap is approx $4.5B

If Peter Coates sold off $9B worth of assets over lunch to make the company debt free, maybe the market would wake up to realise that STO is now a profitable oil/gas producer with approx $11B worth of assets but ascribed a market cap of $4.5B. In this debt free scenario alone, STO is worth about $10.50 per share.

Fear is feeding on itself, the shorters and unethical investment bank rumour mongering are winning at the moment in a pathetic attempt to engineer a fee paying and bargain price equity raising catalyst but Peter Coates is no fool. There will be no capitulation and mass dilutionary equity raising like many did in the GFC. There will be no capital raising IMO. STO stated very clearly at the half yearly that at current oil prices and FX the company is positive free cash flow in 2016 (and yes that is after interest and CAPEX).
Holders would do well to continue to hold, and non-holders may be staring at one of the golden opportunities to make a motza right in the face right now IMO. So who have been the buyers of the 200m odd shares changing hands over the last few weeks? GLTAH.

    Cheers
    Sarge
