That is a dumb thing to say.

If I invest $10,000 at .01c and if goes down 1 pip, I lose 10% or $1,000 !

2 pips and its a 20% loss !

A pip is the same as a dollar, or 10 dollars. But in pip territory it goes up or down that much faster !


Very dangerous stuff. Or exciting if your gambler !

I do have some shares left but they are from long ago, after bought 3 lots from 8.9c, 7.5c, 6.8c and sold most at 3.8c between Apr 15 and Sep 15. Turned out to be right decision even if lost almost half. I would have lost nearly 80% if I was still holding. Anyway. Old stories. More money lost on a wing and a prayer.

Nothing but experience can teach some, like me.
