Why would I bother actually writing to the CEO? Or the Board?
I’d get some nonsense back about their compliance with continuous disclosure obligations.
What they forget is that they have duties to the company (and by extension us as shareholders) other than just telling us what’s going on. I wonder if sitting on their hands and letting the share price tank meets their duty to act in the best interests of the company?
Anyway, ASIC won’t do anything so the Board will just be left with a permanent scar on their corporate record that they rode a once great company into the dirt.
I’d call them muppets but I actually like the Muppet Show.
