i think thats a fair call.
even for a steel/coal bear like myself - bhp is now a value buying proposition
if there wasnt much better stuff to buy cheap in the market id probably buy bhp on the long view, i do think this cycle a ~$22 price will be achieved - thats great upside with the dividends it pays from here
there is however much better value and better management to buy
and short term i like oil in low 20s so bhp has downside. esp as iron ore has a long way to fall yet
