Big SP volatility makes it impossible to predict the bottom. But I think it's movement being so close to crude oil price (like now) is a bit over-done, and may not last too long. But I suppose we'll just trade accordingly.
Last night, oil price bounced back on a banker's comment, and this level of sensitivity would make one think that perhaps volatility is just a game for the big speculators.
Feb is the company reporting month, and I notice green Feb for the past several years. BHP SP of late has been around $14.5, so it may mean something.
