How closely have you looked at sgw's hedges? I have read plenty to the effect that sgw is stuffed because of its hedges. Having looked closely at the hedging situation I believe the comments to be mischevious.

In fact, with the US dollar devaluing and 1.5 moz of sgw's forward sales AUD denominated the prospects for a turnaround is very good.

Do the spread sheet calculations for yourself and dont get sucked into the blather of the rumourmongers.
