Bullsxxxx Cheech, Again no homework. Their is no claim by the ATO, this is a PNG incorporated company. I'll leave it to U to do some research on who they allegedly owe if you're so interested.
They haven't made a provision for your claim as it's so frivillous, but they have for possible environmental claims.
The fact that the PNG government is the largest shareholder behibd RIO, somewhat mitigates both possible liabilities. The fact that the PNG gov't exhonourated BHP over OK Tedi claims supports my view.
