Andesite, reckon your postings (and Haitech’s for that matter) may came under a fair amount of scrutiny in the not to distant future. Some very misleading statements made trying to support your masters - BCL.
Just read the exact extract from the Bougainville Strategic Plan you keep quoting.
It does not say the ABG supports BCL. It says the exact opposite.
It says, “securing certainty about the ownership structure and governance structure of BCL is a high priority.”
What that means in simple English is that the ABG is not happy with either the ownership structure or the Governance Structure of BCL.
BCL and PNG promised the ABG and Landowners 17% but did not honour their promise. If they had the ABG would have controlled BCL with 53%. They didn’t, and PNG controls BCL.
A very big difference.
The ABG obviously knew something was amiss with the BCL Governance structure and standards back in February 2018. Just have a look at the BCL statements. Little did they know BCL would block them from voting at the AGM.
To say the 2018 Bougainville Strategic Plan indicates support for BCL is just profoundly misleading. Is says the opposite.
