    FYI.
I bought some Milk and Eggs from my local Coles Supermarket(large store and very busy as next to major railway station) in southern Sydney tonight.
Interestingly banners everywhere for "down down prices are down" for "Coles branded milk and egg".
Obviously the milk was being sold for $2 a litre.
I had a look at the egg packaging. There were two types caged or free range branded Coles eggs for different sizes.
The caged eggs sold for $3 (700g - a dozen in the carton) and the little sticker at the back said Pace Eggs, Minchinbury, NSW. Hardly any sold.
In contrast, the Coles branded free range eggs on the shelves were almost all gone and were boing sold for $3.90 for a dozen (600g). I checked where they were from and it said Victorian eggs (address, Toorak Road, East Hawthorn - ie. Coles store support centre HQ).
How many major egg producers are there in Victoria?
Why would they ship free range eggs from Melbourne to their Sydney stores as per the packaging?
    Anyone able to answer?
I'm just curious as I own shares in FRM and I'm under water in share price terms.
