    Hi Mars, I don't know the extent they are leveraged to cage egg production but Free Range is a lot more expensive and higher risk, eg disease such as bird flu. A lot of small to medium Free range producers integrate their poultry operations with another aspect of the farm. eg beef cattle to utilise the pasture. So i would be interested to know FRM'S long-term strategy (ARE THEY BUYING UP FARM LAND). I have heard industry experts lament the phasing out of cage eggs as there is a lot of infrastructure now obsolete or soon to be. Thats just an observation.
    Its an opinion as both an egg farmer and a shareholder.
