I am certain that BYL's half-year announcement is due today, and I expect that it will not be a surprise to those of us who are bullish, but it will surprise the market. Just for the hell of it, I bought 25,000 BYL shares this morning at 44c. If the news is good, and BYL can push through 45c, it could easily hit the 50c that we have kicked around in recent posts.

BYL's management are keen to enhance the SP, and to that end I expect that Peter McBain will use the H1 results as the basis of a series of roadshows in coming weeks, and that should give the SP a fillip. Actually, I would prefer him to focus on enhancing BYL's long-term EPS, and let the SP find its own price. Maybe the Brierty family shareholders are twisting his arm. The sooner that the family substantially reduces its shareholding the better, in my opinion.
