The run up in the Boulder share price, without too much by of announcements, is interesting.
I've followed this story off and on - the concept behind building a specialty steel mill in Australia has a lot of merit as presently most specialty steel is imported. Australia has natural advantages that result in very good cost competitiveness - at least as I understand it.
As with most large projects, however there is caution and difficulty in raising the dosh to finance the project, which from memory is about $600m (?)
The project seems to have credible in banks and an Austrian steels group.
Does the share price increase mean that they are finally getting close to doing this deal?
