That was why Credit Suisse's pick of ESG as their O&G sector favourite as reported in the AFR today (page 30) was interesting. Because the sp has fallen they now see plenty of value and upside .. LOL!
If I were a major predator (Shell, BG, Total) I would be thinking a move now would be worth a try. Santos however is playing things in a "co-operative" manner as Knox said ... so they may not be so impolite!!
