On that basis the Q1 commission rate would have been 55% to selling agents (and the prescribing medicos) and the above workings reflect Gross and Net sales. Is that a reasonable rate in this business, I dont know this sector that well??
Overall though it makes a lot of sense and looks good. It also makes sense that these would be estimated during the year at the average rate and an annual adjustment done in Q3 - same convention as with GST etc.
