Volume has to be considered in terms of Churning ie pass the parcel/intra day trading of a fixed number of shares ie 200k churned thru 3 transactions buy/sell gives 1.2 mil volume.

Too often Volume is taken as the Buyers Hold in every transaction past the end of day thus the declaration that say 20% of total shares on issue have transacted in a day.Strong
Hands accumulating etc etc blah.
Well I've seen 100% or even over Shares on Issue in a single days volume and no substantial holder notice ever issued.
It [the extraordinary Volume] was just churn pass the parcel multiple intra day trading.

When doing Volume Analysis one needs to also consider Transfers vs "Real" Transactions arms length as well as these days the 'action' on that new exchange the CHX whatever but mostly you have to get ya head around that Volume Buying Equals Volume Selling and you can rah rah Buying and speculate on the Big Boys are Here going to the Moon toot toot but you should also consider who's selling,enabling the transaction

but oh yeah all sellers are dills right? no patience for the loooooong term dream/certainty.
Well it's true somewhat all Sellers are Bears/shorters and all buyers are Bulls/Long 'swinging" but it's not for no reason that BULLS combine hit to their position.
