I guess you are referring to the 0.1% statement (I think was that %, can't be arsed dredging it up) - if so that referred to % of overall carets - weight not value.

All indications are that for same quality one 5 caret stone is worth substantially more than 5 one caret stones, and so on.

Now the quality of the large rubies could be poor (or not), some looked very pale, but I did not know the company had given an indication of value being negligible?
