Thing is with the Shorts,
It could be the Warrant issuer UBS,
Because as someone buys a short warrant off UBS, UBS would then short the physical stock.
If that is whats happening, then UBS still makes a profit on the time value of the Warrant they sold.
Even though they hold a short, they still make a profit selling the warrant for a net gain.
Ragardless if the stock goes up or down, they make money.
Im pretty sure thats right.
