Thanks for the great technical response Mark. I'll merge in the EXT related stuff with the answers of others and respond in one post.

On the personal stuff: If you genuinely want to understand me then it's as simple as clicking on my name and reading pretty much any EXT post I've written from Friday onwards. Taken together they should give you a very clear picture of what my motivations are.

It shouldn't matter though. Rational discussion is a process of one person asking questions/making arguments, and others replying with their thoughts. Spectators can form their own views about the truth after considering all the perspectives.

I hope we can keep the focus squarely on EXT from now on.
