BHP holds only 2m shares in AUZ. It is not charging for the use of its whiz bang exploration ferret because as the now owner of WMC it needs to keep the Kambalda concentrator up to maximum usuage. But it would not be wasting its time. Its geologists must think that extensions to Blair are a high probability.And AUZ has huge ground around Blair. It also has $2m in the bank and now a first rate mine manager in Cullum Winn.AUZ has better than a reasonable chance of some serious upside.And if the exploration turns up something serious(which is highly possible) BHP will not be passive because nor will other active predators be passive.
