I would hazard a guess and say there are too many investors sitting on the train waiting for the Bull market to begin.

We likely need some sort of capitulation before we move higher.
We are all too stubborn for our own good.

Bull markets begin when stocks or sectors are absolutely loathed and hated by everyone.
I have been in the market for over 20 years and the only thing I know is how little I know and I am a know it all.

In summary I too am flummoxed and very disappointed at where we are.
But it is what it is.

The positives (aside from the SP) are still outweighing the negatives.
