I was not surprised to near of long & extensive police & court history incl family violence. Not surprised he is left free to follow his damaging impulses. But what amazed me is how easily he evades police - offends in Windsor involving stabbing then is able to tool on over to Yarraville in his red car (to do what exactly?) seeking girlfriend was it? - then drive to main Melbourne CBD crossroad and do 6 circles for a few minutes hanging out of car shouting - a few bystanders clearly wanted to stop him.
Then and only then he proceeds several hundred metres to kill random pedestrians.
And where were the police ? What was the timeline from Windsor crimes to final killings in CBD? Have to encompass near an hour surely. Needs an independent inquiry to establish facts & times.
